01 - Bring 2 cups water to a rolling boil in a small saucepan or kettle.
02 - Add black tea bags to boiling water. Steep for 4-5 minutes to achieve robust flavor. Remove and discard tea bags.
03 - While tea remains hot, stir in sugar continuously until fully dissolved.
04 - Allow tea to cool to room temperature. Stir in fresh lime juice until thoroughly incorporated.
05 - Fill two tall glasses generously with ice cubes. Pour lime-infused tea over ice.
06 - Place fresh lime slice on rim of each glass. For creamy version, drizzle ½ tablespoon sweetened condensed milk over top and stir gently before serving.
